Emergency face masks for residents in need
Blue Mountains City Council is providing reusable face masks to those in vulnerable and at risk groups in the community, will receive Emergency face masks thanks to a partnership between Council and the volunteer not-for-profit organisation, Rapid Relief Team.
This initiative will help relieve pressure during the COVID-19 pandemic on those who are most vulnerable in our community, and is a small way that Council can assist those in our community who need help the most during this crisis.
All requests for the face masks will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and will be prioritised based on those in greatest need. Recipients will be informed of the delivery details of their face masks.
Any resident can call Council to receive information and if they are not eligible, we will do our best to connect them with other assistance that is available within the community.
If you are a Blue Mountains resident over the age of 65, or are living with a disability, and are in urgent need please contact Council at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 4723 5000 (Lower Mountains) or 4780 5000 (Upper Mountains).
If you know someone who may be eligible for this program, please contact Council.
